How to Use the Saccades Game
- Set Up
- Sit about 1–1.5 feet (30–45 cm) from your screen.
- Make sure you’re in a well-lit room and your screen is level with your eyes.
- Who This Is For
- Anyone needing to train rapid eye‐movement shifts (saccades)
- Patients with reading fatigue, binocular instability, or who need quick target reacquisition (athletes, drivers, gamers)
- The Exercise
- When the page loads, you’ll see a green “Tap” button (the moving target) inside a box.
- Tap the green circle as it moves around the box—move only your eyes, not your head.
- Each successful tap increments your Score below the box.
- Goals & Protocol
- Duration: 30 seconds per set.
- Reps: 3 sets with a 30 second rest between sets.
- Frequency: 2× daily (morning & evening).
- Progress: Try to increase your total taps each session.
- Logging
- When you finish your last set, click the ✅ Done button to record your session.
- Check your dashboard later to see how your saccadic speed is improving over time.
Tip: Keep your head still—only your eyes should jump from target to target. If you miss the circle, don’t chase it; refocus and continue tapping when it reappears.
