How to Use the Bullseye Focus Chart
Follow these steps to get the most out of your session:
1. Download & Print
- Click the Download PDF button at the top of the page.
- Print on A4 paper at 100% scale (do not “fit to page”).
2. Mount the Chart
- Tape or tack the printed page to a wall at eye level.
- Stand 6 ft (1.8 m) away—mark the floor with tape if that helps.
3. Wear Your Distance Correction
- Keep on whatever glasses or contacts you normally use for distance vision.
4. Focus the Center Circle
- Look directly at the smallest, innermost circle and hold your gaze there.
- Keep your head still—only your eyes should move.
5. Read & Record Each Row
- While maintaining that steady gaze, shift your eyes down to the first numbered row of letters.
- Read the entire row aloud or silently (e.g. “E W A P Q X D K X C”).
- Return your eyes to the center circle and refocus.
- Repeat for row 2, row 3, … through row 10.
Tip: If any letters blur, blink once, refocus on the circle, then continue.
6. Log Your Score
- Each row you successfully read counts as one point (10 rows = 10 points).
- When you finish row 10, return to this webpage and click the ✅ Done button to log your exercise.
Recommended Protocol
- Frequency: 2× daily (morning & evening)
- Duration: ~5 minutes per session
Over time you should notice smoother, faster shifts of focus—and fewer blinks needed to re-lock your gaze. Happy training!
