Bell’s palsy Awareness Poster

Bell’s palsy, a condition causing temporary facial muscle weakness, directly leads to eye problems such as inability to close the eye, causing dry eyes (exposure keratitis), which increases the risk of infection and vision damage. Other eye symptoms include redness, light sensitivity, blurry vision, and an inward-turning lower eyelid called ectropion. Eye care, including artificial tears, ointments, and moisture chambers, is crucial to protect the eye and prevent severe complications like corneal ulcers.
